Terms of service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the typeai.dev website, dashboard and API (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your password and API keys secure.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account and keys. Revoke any key you believe is exposed.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive others;
  • attempt to break, overload, or get around the Service's security, authentication or rate limits;
  • resell or share access to the Service without our written permission;
  • send content you don't have the right to process.

3. AI output

The Service returns automated, probabilistic judgments. They can be wrong. You are responsible for how you use them, for testing thresholds on your own data, and for keeping a human in the loop for decisions with significant consequences.

4. Third-party providers

The Service relies on AI models provided by third parties, including TypeSafe. Content you send to the API is passed to those providers to produce a result.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, limit or discontinue features, and will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

6. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or others at risk.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect.
